Question (s) on cartilage piercing …?

I have my cartilage pierced on the Fourth of July (2009). When I can put a different earring? Like a bar or something and if I can buy earrings to put in it has to be a 20, 18, or 16 Gauge?? Thanks for your help!

You can not change it yet. You have to wait three months atleast. cartilage piercings get keloids with great ease, so it depends on whether you want to have a opportunity for a change of the slope. Ps. You have 20g.
