Is this the right nose ring?

I got my nose pierced on Jan. 9. 2010– which makes me to have had it a little over 3 months.

I changed my jewelry twice because I had a earring in it the first time since it was pierced with a gun. Then I changed it to a diamond stud a month later, that one fell out of my nose and I lost it, so I had to change it again, this time to this ring…. http://s710.photobucket.com/albums/ww109/Ciarra-Michelle/?action=view&current=04211205.jpg

I’ve had this in my nose since the end of February, beginning of March… Since then, I’ve had so many problems with my nose ring. I’ve had an infection, which I’ve cleared up and that bump on top of the piercing which keeps coming back once I get rid of it. Should I get another nose ring?

I recommend going to a tattoo or piercing parlor and getting a stud similar to the one you have. The only difference is they will bend it into either an L shape or a screw shape. (You may need to buy a new ring for this) Either way this will keep the stud from falling out.
As long as you take it out and clean it once in awhile it should ward off infections. I wouldn’t worry though; I had an infection when I first pierced my nose and haven’t had any problems since. I can’t explain it but every piercing I’ve had also got infected in the beginning and since then I haven’t had any issues. I guess every person’s reaction to the piercing is different. I’m no expert on that issue.
To clean it I recommend soaking it in hydrogen peroxide and rinsing it off before putting the stud back in.
