bun ideas for senior prom?

I have dark brown, wavy shoulder length hair. My dress doesn’t allow me too wear too much jewelry, so I was thinking about those tiny little flower clips to scatter about, but I don’t know what kind of bun to go for. I want it to look neat and tidy, but also a little homey. Should I have braids on the side that are tucked into the bun?
