How do I make earrings?

I want to use a material where I can manipulate the shape but is still sturdy, and that I can paint. I don’t really want to make wire or bead earrings. There’s a material that I like (can’t remember what’s it’s called, but it’s smooth like glass and it’s flat), but I don’t know where I can get it, or how to use it. Does anyone have any experience with making home-made earrings who can help me?

I have probably made or tried to make every kind of jewelry..with that being said…I was in NY for Christmas and i went into a great store that sold every bead boggle and anything else. I found some great glass pendants in the most beautiful colors sizes and shapes!

I am not saying you need pendants…duh but I be if u go online to a wholesale bead/jewelry supply vendor, u can look at all the stuff they have and get whatever u want.

I would suggest buying some inexpensive “look- a-like” materials first and making some samples. Its funny how u might have one idea in your mind but once u start creating it, the idea changes and we never have enough of what we want and too much of what we don’t need…is it only me??
