What Is the Best Way to Get A Funky Prep Look?

I love the polo look. I’m more into an Urban look though. I love flip-flops and high-heels and jewelry. I want to get a new look for the school year. I want to look funky, but clean cut and put together.

Urban Outfitters is the perfect place for you. They manage to pair pretty funky looks in a totally put together way. Here are a few tips I’ve encountered over the years-
1. When you want to add an extra flair of dazzle into your outfit, your shoes are the way to go. Say you have a plain jane purple tank,and the rest of your outfit is classy, but simple, find some great ecclectic shoes that will speak volumes. Here are some links to some of my faves-

3. Thirdly, it’s time for leggings!!! Leggings are the most universal accessory there is. Depending on the style, it could give you any image you wish-scene and sweet, vintagey Hollywood glam, pretty and punk, sporty and prep,classy and posh,etc!

4. Colorful make-up(If you are permitted to wear make-up) is fantastic. I love the Claire’s make-up because the eyeshadows come in such shimmery shades. You can pick up a volumizing mascara at any drugstore.
