Grandmother Birthstone Jewelry

Moms: How many of you have a "mother's rings?
I'm talking about gem (usually a ring, but not always) have their children's birthstones. My mother has one, my grandmother has one, but I see fewer and fewer mothers aged 30 years and younger. It's a dying tradition? And I have mine on my last birthday!
47 years and I do not know anyone who has one. I did not (aw. …) and not my three older Sisters are doing it either. No friends, either. I still see sites and catalogs, and they are so beautiful! My mother had one to six stones, all lines in a row, very nice Ring said. However, I thought. We have a son – so I believe that what is generally called "the pride ring girl, but the stones to fit our circumstances, and the ring would be my husband. I'm a maroon, the diamond / white topaz, pink tourmaline, opal is. son or Ah, now I got to thinking – hmmm – 20 wedding anniversary next year – perhaps the idea ….
