My friend is turning into a man!?

I feel awful for writing this…she’d kill me if she knew…
But anyway I have a friend who is 16. She has always had a naturally deep voice, but just recently other male symptoms have been appearing!
She has shown me what appears to be an adams apple developing! She has dark hair on her neck and upper lip too and REALLY bushy eyebrows. She’s also always complaining about the amount she sweats. I’ve suggested various things- hair removal cream, plucking, a spray on rather than a roll on deodorant etc…but she ignores my advice. She also never wears make up or jewellery which just accentuates the manliness. Do you think she might have overactive thyroid syndrome?

ye it def sounds lik that….she should go to the docs, apparently they can give you tablots to slow it down…she sounds like one of those people that dont really care much about there looks…i know if someone was trying to give me advice about my looks, id take it!! if shes happy like that, then id just leave it as she gets older, shel start realising more and might then go to a doctor, but if she is complaing about it to you, then maybe say “oh you might have an overactive thyroid system, ask yor mum about it” thats what id do….but if shes never plucked her eyebrows before, then they would be really bushy, everyones would be, also that’d automatically give her a more manly appearence..
