Does anyone know how to make “magic string bracelets”?

I read about them in CosmoGirl!, but i researched it online and i cant find anything about it. If anyone knows how to make one, please tell me. =]

you should use some pearls (can be fake) but you must sew one small button (must be red colour).
then bracelet should be 12 hours exposed to sun. (that is very difficult you must find right place and time of the year)
in the same time , behind your house need to be candle lighted but up, (from the bottom)
When you are finish with that then you must wear bracelet and go to bathroom for 25 minute shower.
That is it!
