Does anyone know how much it is for jewelry making tools?

I live in Connecticut. I cant seem to find prices for tools for jewelry. Thanks

It depends how into it you are. My husband went to school for Jewelry making and had a job for a few years doing it. Now he’s at a different job and he does small things at home. He doesn’t have all the tools to do big jobs, like a flex shaft or a torch. I know the flex shaft can be a couple hundred dollars, pretty sure it’s for doing rings, it holds them in place, I forget.

If you want to get a torch those can be more expensive. I know the oxygen ones (which are safer) can be as much as $1,000, and the other ones are a few hundred.

As for small tools, like files, saws, or anything else…I’m not sure on the price. Have you tried Ebay? I know some people sell flex shafts on there for 50-150 used, so the tools would be even cheaper, I’d think.
