can I get an initial piercing with real white gold?

I am allergic to everything else but real gold. I have had several piercings with surgical steel and none of them have healed correctly. They just stay red and sore. My belly button ring ended up pushing its self out and my nose piercing had a small bump come up, then when i took it out, it went away. I currently have my first holes in my ears pierced and i can only wear real gold in them or they turn really red and look like they are infected. I have had my ears pierced for almost 18 years, so i know that they are healed. I want to get my monroe pierced but I want to try to use real white gold for the initial piercing, will they let me buy my own jewelry and give it to them at the time of the piercing or can you order it through them or what?

It depends on where you go. I would recommend finding a good piercing specialist, and then asking them if they provide real gold. Some do, some don’t. If they don’t, ask if they’d allow you to bring your own.

Really the only way to know though is by researching the local shops. We can’t really tell you what they’re going to say.
